Setting up a contractor profile that matches you to work 1 min read

Hand tools with red and yellow handles stored in a workshop
A contractor profile is not a formality on FSN. The service categories and skills recorded on it are what decide which work orders a contractor is shown, so an incomplete profile is a smaller list of work.
Verification comes before work. An account confirms its email address and its phone number before it can take an assignment. That check protects both sides of every work order.
The service area is a coverage question rather than an address question. It describes where a contractor is willing to travel, which is what a client filtering by location is actually asking about.
Skills can be added at any time. A skill added today changes which work orders appear tomorrow, with nothing else to do.
